Italy Amalfi Coast

A Guide to Minori

Minori is a peaceful retreat with its gentle lifestyle and small beach. The town is full of the famous grey clay of Nocera and Sarno which has been used to construct buildings as well as works of art through out Minori.

The clay is well known for its lightness and malleability and you can find evidence of its usage as you explore the sites of Minori which include the Cathedral di Minori, with many tombs of the Republican Doges, the Church of St Gennaro, the Church of St Giuliano, the Church of the Madonna delle Grazie (St Maria del Rosario), the Church of St Giovanni Battista in the bay, the Church of St Nicola, the Grotta dell’Annunziata and the bell tower of the Annunziata.
