Rome is the capital of Italy and is at the heart of Italian politics and culture.
Built on the Tiber river and surrounded by the seven hills Rome is situated amid stunning scenery and is not far from the west coast. The magnificent city also houses the Vatican home to one of the most famous men in the world, The Pope. The city of St Petersburg is situated at the heart of the capital and houses the fabulous Sistine Chapel displaying the glorius murals by Michaelangelo and of course his David.
