A Guide to Nice

Nice is the Capital of the Riviera and is one of the larger cities in France. The city has a fantastic setting around with the mountains shadowing the city and the Mediterranean on its shores. The city breaks into two areas the Old and New cities. The Old town is hi-lighted by Le Chateau in the hills and is built along the River Paillon.

The city has many museums, which chart the rise of the city and its wealth. And off the city’s main street is the avenue Jean-Medecin that leads off to the north and to the exclusive hillside resort of Cimiez.
