A Guide to Pau

Pau is a beautiful city, which is perfect for relaxing and taking in the relaxing ambience typical of a French city. There are some attractions in the city which are worth seeing only if you feel you need to go out and see them though you would not be missing a huge amount if you just took the time to just experience the town.

There are some lovely cafes and restaurants in the city serving the traditional cuisines of the area and cater for your every need. There is a very good rugby team based in Pau playing in the top flight of the French league and have been playing European rugby as well. This is a perfect opportunity to experience the town at its best cheering on their local team.

Pau is an alive and vibrant town but is also a perfect place to relax and not feel the need to search the city looking for attractions but able to enjoy the city without feeling guilty that you haven’t searched the city for sights.
