A Guide to Aurillac

There are not a huge number of sites in the town but the attraction of the town is its charm and the beautiful streets that have wonderful cafes and restaurants betraying the quaint French atmosphere and serving delicious cuisines unique to the area.

There are some museums in the area such as the Musee de Volcans, which is a stunning exhibit on volcanoes and the mountains to the east. There is a vibrant and alive nightlife for those who like to party long into the night.

Aurillac is a pleasant stop of point for a couple of days in order to experience the lifestyle of the region and perfect if you are passing through the region.
