Jardin Botanica El Charco del Ingenio, also known as Landetta Park or the Botanical Garden and Nature Park, above town near the Gigante supermarket. With plenty of trails through this 247-acre park, runners don’t need to suffer on the cobblestone in San Miguel. Grab a taxi to take you, and ask the taxi driver to return at a predetermined time for your ride back to the hotel.

Malanquín Country Club, This 9-hole course is the only links near the city, as of now. Other full-sized golf courses can be found in nearby Queretero and Celaya, and at least one 18-hole course is planned for San Miguel in the near future.
