Description

Location. A resort sanctuary located six miles west of downtown Tucson, the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa offers upscale accommodations, nature inspired spa services, plus an Arnold Palmer designed golf course. The hotel stands against Tucson Mountain Park, a 20,000 acre nature preserve that contains the most significant saguaro forests in the world. This resort lies 11 miles from the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum and 10 miles from Tucson Botanical Gardens.
Hotel Features. Natural touches are found throughout this resort, including ceilings crafted from Saguaro cactus spines and floors and walls hewn from rock. The 20,000 square foot, three story Hashani Spa includes a floor to ceiling glass wall with stunning views of the surrounding landscape, two luxurious lounges for men and women, and a spa café. Other amenities include fitness classes, an outdoor pool, spa tubs, steam room, sauna, and 24 treatment rooms. Golfers will discover the newly re designed Arnold Palmer Signature Golf course that winds through scenic and challenging mountains and arroyos. In addition, the resort offers a variety of dining options, including the Signature Grill for southwestern specialties; Primo, for fine Italian dining; Salud, that offers cocktails and starlit views of the valley; and the Catalina Steakhouse at Starr Pass Golf Club, with private dining in the Palmer Room. The hotel features 88,000 square feet of flexible meeting and ballroom space. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Guestrooms. This six story resort offers 575 guestrooms, including suites. All guestrooms feature modern amenities and elegant décor, such as bathrooms fitted with natural stone counters and brushed nickel fixtures. Each room provides views overlooking the mountains, golf course, pools or city lights.
