Location. The Sofitel Chicago Water Tower is two blocks from Rush Street nightlife and shopping on Michigan Avenue and Oak Street. The John Hancock Center is three blocks from the hotel and Lake Michigan is five blocks away. Oak Street beach, River North Gallery District and Museum of Contemporary Art are one half mile away.
Hotel Features. Paying tribute to the admired building structure is Café des Architectes, featuring Cuisine Nouvel in a contemporary setting complete with terrace area and lounge. Le Bar is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows, low chenille sofas and library area with fireside seating.
