Hotel Features. The formal A.R. Valentien restaurant boasts artworks by its namesake early 19th century California artist and overlooks the Torrey Pines Golf Course's 18th hole. Only native California wines are served with its fresh regional cuisine, which features a seasonally influenced menu. The Grill & Bar boasts Californian and American fare, casual dining and an adjacent cocktail lounge.
