Located on the western shore of historic Lake Union, the Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Downtown provides convenient extended stay accommodations in Seattle, Wash. The hotel is next to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and is one mile from the Space Needle and downtown Seattle. Also nearby is the South Lake Union Park, home to the Summer Nights concert series. Other area attractions include Pike Place Market, Safeco Field, Seahawks Stadium and the University of Washington.
The seven story Residence Inn by Marriott offers 234 guestrooms including 40 two bedroom suites, a good option for families and guests seeking more space. All guest accommodations were renovated in 2005 and include complimentary high speed Internet access and two phone lines. Many guestrooms provide views of Lake Union and downtown Seattle. Suites include fully equipped kitchens and separate living areas.

A manager's reception is hosted every Wednesday night and is catered by local restaurants. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to area attractions within a two mile radius.
