Description

The 39 story Marriott San Francisco Hotel stands just south of Market Street, opposite the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, a block from the Moscone Center and the Museum of Modern Art, and two blocks from the cable cars. The Yerba Buena Gardens is the site of numerous festivals, art shows, free concerts and performances by top name dance troupes. The lobby and public areas feature large sculptures, original art and fountains. Brochures detail self guided art tours. The Marriott's health club includes an indoor pool and outdoor roof garden, along with cardio equipment, weights, steam rooms, saunas and a spa tub. The atrium's Garden Terrance restaurants feature expansive breakfast and lunch buffets, while the 4th Street Bar & Grill provides wide screen TVs, burgers, pizza and beer on tap. On the 39th floor, the hotel's lounge boasts panoramic views of this mystical City by the Bay through gigantic seashell shaped windows.

Guestrooms feature warm natural tones and bold textiles, reminiscent of private homes. Guests will enjoy luxurious beds dressed with soft down duvets and crisp linens. The rooms also feature high speed Internet access.

This Marriott created quite a buzz when its peach colored tiers and reflective seashell windows debuted on the downtown skyline in 1989. Today, the buzz comes from more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space that make the Marriott one of the city's premier convention hotels with a prime location that also attracts vacationing families.
