Location. The Westin San Francisco Market Street in San Francisco, Calif., is located in the South of Market arts district. The Arts at Yerba Buena Gardens and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art are two blocks away. Union Square is within three blocks. The theater district is within five blocks. Transportation by cable car is available three blocks from the property.
Hotel Features. The Westin San Francisco Market Street was renovated in 2007. Jester's Restaurant features an extensive drink menu, classic American cuisine and live music Friday nights. Dishes include Pan Seared Duck Breast and Angus Rib Eye Steak in Chardonnay Sauce. A business center and conference rooms are provided, as is high speed Internet access. The Fitness Center, Powered by Reebok, hosts stair machines, stationary bicycles, free weights and treadmills, along with men's and women's showers, saunas and locker rooms. Professional massage services are available. Every nook of the hotel displays an object d'art, ranging from a gold leaf dome and original murals in Jester's to a David Hockney lithograph near the elevator. This family friendly property also features a concierge who can assist in planning child friendly excursions.
Guestrooms. Resplendent with progressive designs, soothing earth tones and brushed aluminum accents, the 667 guestrooms and suites have floor to ceiling windows, commanding views of greater San Francisco and the bay. Expert Tip. Every morning beginning at 6:30, one of the hotel's three managers leads guests on a five mile run through the city. Participants meet in the lobby Monday through Friday, and may request various levels of difficulty.
