Description

Location. Rising 14 stories in downtown San Antonio, Texas, the Emily Morgan Hotel is located adjacent to the historic Alamo and one block from the famed Riverwalk. Less than five blocks from the hotel are the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center, La Villita old town San Antonio, and the Majestic Theater, presenting regular touring productions and the San Antonio Symphony.
Hotel Features. The hotel's exterior, presenting baroque architecture that interchanges with contemporary urban interiors. The ORO Restaurant and Bar's décor compliments the hotel's polished stone foyer and features candle lit settings with Mediterranean cuisine. Early evenings at the restaurant offer drink specials and complimentary appetizers.

More than 3,500 square feet of meeting and banquet space is available within the hotel, including a library with a double sided stone fireplace that adjoins the lobby. Expert Tip. The Emily Morgan Hotel is a cited example of gothic revival architecture in America, sporting terra cotta gargoyles overhanging from the building's ground floor windows. The building formerly housed a medical arts facility and is noted as a historical artifact in the San Antonio community.
