Description |
This lovely 4 star hotel resides in an unparalleled location between the Cathedral of Malaga and the Paseo del Parque, with picturesque views out over the port. Perfect for a business trip to enjoy one of the largest range of recreational and cultural possibilities of the Costa del Sol. The Palacio opens onto a tree lined esplanade near the cathedral and the harbor. Most balconies offer views of the port, and below you can see horses pulling century old carriages. The midsize rooms are traditionally furnished and have firm beds and bathrooms with tub/shower combos. The street floor lounges mix antiques with more modern furnishings. Malaga was the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and many of his most formative memories and influences lie in his childhood, and in Malaga. Although his self imposed exile, meant that he didn't see the city for most of his adult life, he referred to himself as a Malagueno until the day he died. Malaga is just beginning to return this compliment. A new museum is under construction, which will house a major collection of Picasso's work.
