Originally a 13th century hamlet this tranquil cluster of pretty stone buildings is situated in Chianti, overlooking the valley. The 23 air conditioned guestrooms have elegant rustic style decor with whitewashed walls, antique furnishings, beamed ceilings and terracotta flooring. All guestrooms have air conditioning, safes, minibars, direct dial phones, satellite television and bathrooms with bathrobes, hair dryers and toiletries.
Guests can relax with a glass of fine wine on a sun lounger by the outdoor swimming pool. The pool's terrace overlooks the Chianti valley and has stunning views. The hotel's restaurant offers snacks, appetizers, hot and cold drinks and a buffet lunch and dinner in a welcoming dining room with traditional style rustic decor. The hotel has its own wine cellar; an ancient, vault roofed cellar where guests can sample a wide variety of local wines at regular wine tastings. Room service is also available. For those who want to explore the surrounding parkland, the hotel offers mountain bike rental. There are several sightseeing attractions in the surrounding area, with the Fortress, Via delle Volte, Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie, and Palazzo Pretorio all within 15 kilometres. Florence Vespucci Airport is approximately 55 kilometres and a 75 minute drive from the hotel. There are no direct public transport links to the hotel. Guests can hire a car or take a taxi; taxi fare is approximately 100 EUR.

From Florence Vespucci Airport take the Autostrada A1 and exit at Firenze Certosa, turn right after the toll station for Siena, after approximately 21 kilometres exit at S.Donato. Take the left for Castellina in Chianti. In Castellina take the left for Radda in Chianti, along the ss.222. After approximately two kilometres, turn right at the intersection for Radda in Chianti. Relais Vescine is approximately three kilometres after this intersection.
