The Hotel First is a smart, business oriented hotel set two kilometres from Gigli Shopping Centre and three kilometres from Florence city centre. The 126 guestrooms have understated interiors in soothing cream tones finished with light contemporary furnishings, white framed prints and fabric blinds. All include air conditioning, satellite television, pay movies, direct dial phones and wireless Internet facilities.
Guests can cool off in the 18 metre swimming pool, set in a pretty garden and surrounded by a bright terrace, ideal for sunbathing. Traditional Florentine meals as well as international favourites can be enjoyed in the hotel restaurant, which opens onto a garden terrace during summer and serves break fast, lunch and dinner. Business guests have the use of several meeting and conference rooms equipped with advanced facilities, and the hotel restaurant can accommodate up to 400 guests, making it suitable for large functions. Active guests can work out in the hotel gym, and free parking is available to drivers. The nearest shops are just 50 metres from the hotel and, points of interest include Florence's many historic and cultural attractions such as the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo, Accademia and Santa Croche, all about six kilometres from the hotel. Florence Vespucci Airport is about six kilometres and a driving time of 15 minutes from the hotel.

The airport is a short taxi ride from town (costing 13 16 EUR) although it is also possible to take the half hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence. From Florence Airport, turn right out of the airport exit and follow the road for one kilometre, following the signs for the A1 towards Bologna. Enter the motorway and continue for approximately 2 kilometres until the next exit, Sesto Fiorentino / Calenzano. Once though the toll gates follow the road to the right and after 150 metres turn right into the hotel car park.
