The Hotel Pierre is a luxury deluxe 4 star hotel located in the heart of the historical centre of Florence only steps away from the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Florence Cathedral and the Uffizi Art Gallery. The Duomo and the Uffizi Art Gallery are some of the most popular attractions in Florence and all of them are within easy walking distance from the hotel.
The Pierre Hotel itself was constructed in the 13th century at the beginning of Florence's renowned renaissance. later towards the end of the 19th century the facade was redesigned in Gothic style by the architect Pietro Berti. The building underwent a facelift in March 1999 returning the facade, guest rooms and windows back to it's former style consequently, the hotel Pierre fits in very well with the surrounding buildings most of which date back to the Medieval period. The warm and welcoming environment is reflected in the traditional decor, classic furniture, parquet flooring in the bedrooms and marble in the bathrooms. Recently in 2006 ADSL Broadband Internet Connection was added to all of the guest rooms. Naturally all rooms contain air conditioning, satelite t.v., central heating etc. The Hotel Pierre is clearly in a privileged position, making it an ideal starting-point for visits to dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

Directions |
A bus leaves the airport for Santa Maria Novella Station every half hour. Alternatively, taxis are available and charge around 20 EUR to the hotel.
Driving directions: From Florence Vespucci Airport, take the A1 Motorway in the direction of Firenze Centro. Although the airport is very close to Florence, traffic can be bad in the city, so guests are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
