Description |
Hotel Cala del Porto is built on a slope covered with pine trees which gently winds its way down towards the sea. The enchanting location, overlooking a beautiful bay, white sandy beaches and a marina, makes a setting that cannot fail to enthral upscale guests for whom the property provides the very best services (shuttle to the private beach and golf course) and an elegant interior. The decor is both contemporary and warm.
The three restaurants of Hotel Cala del Porto merit a special mention: in addition to the restaurant inside the hotel, there are two others in enchanting locations, one alongside the pool and the other on the private beach; all offer both international and regional cuisine, with a great variety of seafood dishes.

Punta Ala is a delightful location in the highly varied district of the Tuscan Maremma. This pearl of the Tyrrhenian is not far from renowned art resorts such as Pisa, Florence and Siena, and stands out for the exclusive elegance it offers its visitors. It is the charming tip of a promontory which breaks up as it reaches the sea into rocks known as the Porcellini (piglets).
Punta Ala is a modern full equipped tourist resort, with a marina able to accommodate numerous yachts and sailing vessels. It has however managed to preserve the unspoilt charm of the flora which surrounds it: exuberant Mediterranean scrub, luxuriant shady pine woods, and pleasant rocky coastline alternated with warm golden beaches which slope down into the clear blue waters of the sea, an ideal habitat for various types of fish and shellfish.
There is a sea and a lot of green countryside in the woodland and lake areas which comprise the flourishing nature oases of the Maremma nature reserve and Orbetello lagoon.
